Character writing plays a big role, pitting a dynamic cast of characters against Shuichiro's neurodivergent personality. The conflicts are exciting, although their resolutions are absurdly contrived. That, however, is pretty entertaining in its own way; it's probably the most interesting aspect of the story, outside of the setting itself"
